International Students, Inc. (ISI), established in 1953, is an organization of Christian volunteers who want to have friendships with international students at U.S. colleges and universities. ISI volunteers and staff provide various services to students. Some of these services include teaching them about American culture, helping them with problems needing a native speaker, finding an American Christian mentor in their academic discipline, and (if interested) teaching them about our Creator God and the Bible. While International Students, Inc. is a Christian organization students need not be Christians to participate. Those from any nationality and all religious backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to participate. ISI offers international students social service and spiritual activities. We work with many partnering churches locally. It is not necessary to participate in spiritual activities in order to receive other services. Our services and friendship are offered unconditionally and students will not be pressured regarding participation in spiritual activities.

International Students, Inc. is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and has field staff in 300 cities across the U.S., serving more than 500 campuses. In addition, more than 22,000 volunteers assist to serve international students throughout the U.S.
